About us
Welcome to Fellowship
Started during a revival in 1949 as a simple mission, Fellowship Baptist Church has blossomed into full fledged church which now caters to all ages and peoples. We have Sunday School classes for all ages, Sunday morning/evening worship, and a Wednesday night Bible study. Common Questions
Where should I park?
We have a full parking lot beside and behind the church and usually have plenty of spaces available for guests. We do have handicap spaces available by the sanctuary entrance in the back, but otherwise it’s free for all.
Can you pick me up?
Absolutely. We have a bus ministry for those unable to make it to services themselves. Just call one of our friendly drivers and let them know you need a ride.
What should I wear?
We have a “come as you are” mentality. You’ll see some wearing suit and tie, while others prefer their favorite jeans. As long as you’re comfortable and ready to worship you should fit right in.
Where do my kids go?
We offer child care for infants and toddlers during all of our services. On Sunday mornings we have children’s church, and on Wednesday night we have Youth Group.
Will I be safe?
As sad as it is, we know the church is no longer a place free of threats. We have taken several measures to ensure the safety of our congregation before, during, and after services.
Our mission
Fellowship Baptist Church is called to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to abide by the principles of the Bible which we believe to be Holy Scripture, to maintain the worship of God, and to inspire in all persons a love for our Lord, a passion for righteousness, and a consciousness of their duties to God and their fellow human beings. We pledge our lives to Christ and covenant with each other to demonstrate His Spirit through worship, witnessing (to the unchurched and the alienated), and ministry to the needs of the people of this church and the entire community.

Our beliefs
We believe in the absolute authority of the Holy Scriptures. We believe the original manuscripts were given by inspiration of God and were without error. We believe the incorruptible and inspired word of God which cannot pass away is available to the world. The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God eternally existent as the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. We believe God to be the creator and sustainer of all things, visible and invisible. We believe the universe and all that is therein to be held together by the word of His power.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be God manifest in the flesh, virgin born, without sin, crucified, risen and coming again. We believe he will receive His bride, the Church, in the air quickly, cleanse the nation of Israel during a period of Great Tribulation, return to judge the world, and then establish His Millennial Kingdom.
We believe salvation is available today to all men by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and through His name, apart from human works or merit of any kind. We believe that the decision to accept Christ as Savior is an act of the human will, and is not in any way forced upon an individual by God at any point in time.
We believe that the Church Age saint who is born again as a saved child of God is eternally secure in the Lord Jesus Christ, and is sealed, taught, and comforted by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.
We believe salvation makes one a member of the universal body of Christ, literally bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh, along with all other believers in the world. We also believe that the members of this body should gather together in a local church where they may minister one to another.
We believe that the main ministry of the local church is first and foremost, to reprove, rebuke, and encourage the Believer by regular teaching of the word of God in our local assembly. This teaching should be line upon line, precept upon precept, proclaiming the whole counsel of God, comparing Scripture with Scripture, studying to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We believe it is the responsibility of every believer to proclaim the saving gospel to all men by personal testimony and by giving of their service, talents, tithes and offerings for means of financial needs for missionary outreach and the undertakings of this church body.
We believe all men rejecting the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the conscious torment of a literal lake of fire, while those receiving the Lord Jesus Christ will spend eternity in the glorious presence of God.
We believe all saved men should be separate from the outward and inner ways of this world, being holy in mind and body. We believe, however, that righteousness does not come by keeping of laws and commandments but by an inner change of heart. We therefore place emphasis on the inner condition, trusting the outward appearance to follow accordingly.
We believe that water baptism is a public testimony made by the saved Christian and plays no part in salvation or making one a member of the church. We believe that the Lord’s Supper was ordained by God for the purpose of remembering His sacrifice on the cross and His return. We believe that all saved individuals are commanded to partake, but that they are also commanded to examine themselves, so that they do not partake unworthily.
