REVIVAL with “Dr Hunter” 3/23/2025 – 3/26/2025

Dr. Harold Hunter was born in Cookeville, Tennessee. He and his wife, Marilyn, now reside in Newburgh, Indiana. They have two sons, Chad and Braxton

Dr Hunter has served as pastor of five Southern Baptist churches; his first church was a small country church and his last a large city megachurch. Each of these churches experienced dramatic growth, and his last church was list ed in the top 1% of fastest growing churches ir America. In January of 1991, Dr. Hunter resigned that pastorate, entered into full-time evangelism and founded Trinity Crusades for Christ. Since that date he has served as the evangelist for hundreds of local church crusades and area crusades, recording over 323,000 public decisions for Christ across America

Dr. Hunter is the author of six books, has written many newspaper articles, and has been involved in extensive radio and television productions. He has also recorded two albums of gospel music and has been asked to appear in concert to sing with such notables as Elmo Mercer, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet and the Masters V. He has also shared the stage with the famed comedian, the late Jerry Clower. He has co-hosted several telethons with such celebrities as Art Linkletter and Debby Boone. He has appeared in television forums and has often been asked to comment on current issues for local newspapers. While serving his final pastorate, Dr. Hunter hosted a popular daily call-in radio broadcast, entitled “Let’s Ask the Pastor,” where he gave on-the-spot answers to Bible questions

Dr Hunter has also spoken at public and private schools on teen suicide prevention. He is regu larly invited to share the Trinity Teen Suicide Prevention Program in high schools across America. In fact, through this special ministry, over 1.2 million teenagers have heard a positive message from Dr Hunter about good choices for life in face-to-face assembly programs

Dr Hunter has been called a modern Billy Sunday because of his boundless pulpit energy and tierce love for all sinners
